CD set bulk packages are shipped to you for redistribution to the end users. All CD packages are shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. Electronic delivery has been increasing in popularity in the past six months due to the simplicity and speed of distribution. Electronic delivery is done securely via Sharefile. We send the files to the instructor and each student for immediate download and use. We provide verification of the transmission and download of end user. We encourage students to back up their downloaded files on a flash drive or on a recordable CD. Audio Format and Text Format The Absolute Experience® audio files are in .wav format.WAV is an audio file format that was developed by Microsoft. A WAV file is identified by a file name extension of WAV (.wav). Used primarily in PCs, the WAV file format has been accepted as a viable interchange medium for other computer platforms, such as Macintosh. We highly recommend Express Scribe transcription playback software. However, WAV is supported by all transcription playback software on the market today. The Absolute Experience® text files are in .pdf format. Short for Portable Document Format, PDF captures formatting information from a variety of desktop publishing applications, making it possible for us to send you formatted transcripts and have them appear on your monitor or printer as we intended. To view your text files in PDF format you need Adobe Reader. Most already have Adobe Reader. However, if you are in need of Adobe Reader you will be prompted to download this free application at your first attempt to open a transcript/text file.
